The project dubbed Enhancing Communities Communication on Protection against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse ECC-PSEA has CCMN as technical partner, and shall in the next couple of weeks produce and disseminate media content to curb sexual violence in the NW/SW communities.

This project is aimed amid growing concerns, to promote effective and principled humanitarian action through civil society and community based initiatives within the context of the NW-SW crisis.

During the workshop, the lead resource person and National Coordinator of the Cameroon Community Media Network CCMN, Rosaline Obah, engaged the stakeholders on a media mapping strategy on how the project will be implemented via a push from the media represented in the project by the CCMN.

Speaking to the press after the workshop, the coordinator of the CUEPD Mr Agbor, who heads this leading coordinating unit for Persons Living with Disabilities ( PWDs) for the South West Region, expressed his interest to collaborate in ensuring the development and dissemination of inclusive communication and outreach materials on PSEA targeting vulnerable groups such as PWDs.

It should be noted that PWDs and women are the most exposed persons to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse under any situation of an escalated conflict.

Some might see it as a monster or a threat, while others (like The Colbert Factor) might think it's the greatest thing ever. It would ultimately mean something different to everyone, and that would influence the way each person understood it. The visit of the French President was the elephant walking into the Cameroon room.   Emmanuel Macron and Paul Biya in Yaoundé. July 25-27 2022 Last week's visit by recently re-elected French President, Emmanuel Macron, was too substantial to ignore. To most ordinary Cameroonians, his remarks after the close to two hours high-level talks with long-serving President Paul Biya, were great. To others, (especially those in government), they were a threat to what government had given a pat on its back for a fast-track of the decentralization process with a Special Status for the North Wes...

You have been the lucky few to have been chosen to work and earn some money to help your parents send you back to school. Make sure that dream comes true. Do not in anyway disappoint the Council and the entire population who trusted you to have this job. Be good citizens and true patriots. Thank you for assisting the council ...
