MENCHUM PRESBYTERY: PCC PASTORS' ATTENTION ON CHAPLAINCY BROUGHT TO BOOK.

The PCC National Training Chaplain, Rev. Dr. Mih Clement Kum has begun training Pastors of the Menchum Presbytery on the important role of chaplaincy, given that in Menchum Presbytery, chaplaincy programs are very timid. Cross section of Pastors at the refresher course. This is the focus of a four-day refresher course which started on Wednesday March 30th 2022 at the Women's hall of PC Naikom in Menchum Presbytery. It will end on Saturday April 2nd 2022. The interest, the National Training Chaplain says, is to enable PCC Pastors in Menchum Presbytery to revamp chaplaincy programs that have gone comatose.                                So, this refresher course is aimed at bringing back the attention of Pastors to what they often neglect after they are given their charge. It should be recalled that in the seminary, focus is more on the general evangelization whereas there are specific things to do when it comes to chaplaincy. The National Training Chaplain, Rev. COVID-19; CAMEROON KICKS-OFF OF 4TH ROUND OF NATIONAL VACCINATION CAMPAIGN.

The Government of Cameroon , concerned about the well-being of its populations, has launched the 4th round of the National Vaccination Campaign against the Covid-19 pandemic. COLLABORATION MILITARY-POPULATION POPULATION OF WUM HARVEST BOUNTIFULLY.

Around 2,000 inhabitants of Ghidze, Watio, Waindo, Zongotegha and Wajung villages of Wum municipality, now have access to drinking water. The new water supply scheme inaugurated on Saturday, March 12, 2022, provided the needed infrastructure to supply drinking water to 5 villages in the municipality of Wum, villages which suffered from significant shortages of drinking water in the past. The population of Ghidze, Watio, Waindo, Zongotegha and Wajung villages of Wum municipality in Menchum Division of the North West region of Cameroon is reaping bountiful harvest from Military-Population collaboration. BAFMENG-MENCHUM DIVISION: MILITARY INTENSIFIES ROMANCE WITH POPULATION.

The Commander of the 5th Joint Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere, took gifts made up of food stuffs, didactic materials, farm inputs and encouragements, to the inhabitants, pupils and students, defense and security forces at Bafmeng in Fungom Subdivision of the Menchum Division. The increasing collaboration between defense and security forces and the population in the face of the ongoing socio-political and security crisis in the North West region has been strengthened during an outing of Operational Control by the Commander of the 5th Joint Military Region, Brigadier General Nka Valere to Bafmeng in Menchum Division from March 10-12, 2022. 2021 WUM COUNCIL ADMINISTRATIVE AND MANAGEMENT ACCOUNT ADOPTED.

WEH GETS PROLIFIC TRADITIONAL RULER

The people of Weh Village in Menchum Division of the North West Region now have a traditional ruler, Fon Mbuh II who was coronated on March 9 2022 in Weh. The ceremony took place in two parts; first coordinated by notables and queen mothers of the village with right to traditionally transformed the Fon and the second part was chaired by the senior Divisional Officer for Menchum, Mr Abdoullahi Aliou. Weh is a second class stool. The crowd pulling ceremony was graced with the historic address of the paramount Ruler who for the first time in his new capacity thanked the people of Weh for showing reverence to the throne.
