COVID-19: MENCHUM DIVISION AT WARFRONT

The Senior Divisional Officer of Menchum Division, Abdoullahi Aliou, has officially launched the 5th Covid-19 immunization campaign in Menchum Division, with a call to intensify the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. He noted with dissatisfaction the plethora of misinformation misleading the population and preventing them from receiving the Covid-19 vaccine.

The launching event took place Thursday November 17 at the conference hall of the SDO's office and served as a platform for the Civil Administrator to amplify the call for the fight against misinformation that has greatly jeopardized vaccination measures against the pandemic.

In a situational analysis of the Covid-19, the District Medical Officer DMO of Wum Health District, Dr. Elomme Bako stated that the pandemic has been in the Division for over two years with five deadly waves with five deaths recorded so far.

In order to bring the number of cases to zero and oust the pandemic, the DMO, Dr. Elomme Bako while lauding the efforts of the media, encouraged the media practioners to embark on online and offline sensitization campaigns against the disease in all the nooks and crannies of the health district.

LES BRASSERIES DU CAMEROUN: Poised to revamp dying North West Economy.

As the crisis persists in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon, economic sabotage has been part of the modus operandi of the Separatists. NORTH WEST PUBLIC INDEPENDENT CONCILIATOR

The PIC while addressing local masses in Wum Council area, Mr. Tamfu Fai, appealed to the government to create divisional representations.
