The divisional delegation of Communication Menchum, in collaboration with OJ SLIM MEDIA, celebrated the 2025 World Radio Day with a strong emphasis on promoting journalism void of hate speech among pupils and students in Menchum Division. The event, which took place on February 13 2025, brought together students, teachers, and media professionals to discuss the importance of responsible journalism and the role of young people in promoting peace and tolerance through media. This year's world radio day was placed under the theme Radio and Climate change. In his keynote address, the Divisional Delegate of Communication, Buo Ephraim Amuh, stressed the need for young journalists to adhere to ethical standards and avoid hate speech in their reporting, and to also raise awareness on climate change.
