CHAMECC ORGANISES A ONE DAY WORKSHOP; REVEALS FINDINGS ON THE IMPACT OF THE ANGLOPHONE CRISIS ON THE POPULATION OF THE NWR.

  After a survey carried out to situate the population of Bamenda one, two and three, perception and attitude towards Peacebuilding and human rights in the context of the Anglophone crisis, a data has been released by Charmers Media and Communication Consults CHAMECC, to over 30 individuals in the presence of the Delegate of women's empowerment for the North West Region, with the purpose of recommendations that can bring lasting peace to the region.     As stated by Mr. Nji Blasius, founder of CHAMECC while giving a brief presentation on the background of the project to participants, he said "The survey falls under a one year project. We had to carry out a series of activities like radio program, publications and now surveys to get the impact of the crisis on the population. CAGEAD LAUNCHES UNSCR1325 SIMPLIFIED MANUAL.

  The Center for Advocacy, Gender Equality and Action for Development has on Thursday 22 April 2021 launched   a Manual   to help make learning easy for grassroots facilitators who are aiding the localization of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 ( UNSCR1325) on women , peace and Security agenda in Communities across Cameroon. The launch which   took place under the umbrella of the Bamenda 3  Council Hall, with strict respect of the Covid-19 measures and attended by some   dignitaries and   stakeholders, is a follow up of a project which began some few months back with the training of some women and men as community peace Ambassadors   in the Bamenda 1 and 3 locality. COVID-19: NORTH WEST PUBLIC HEALTH DELEGATE RECEIVES VACCINES WITH GREAT EUPHORIA.

2020/2021 SCHOOL YEAR; ALL READY TO FIGHT COVID-19 WHILE LEARNING.

The third term of the academic year 2020/2021, started last April 12, 2021 with many school administrations, taking firm resolutions and determination to complete the syllabus for the academic year while respecting barrier measures against COVID-19. In many schools across Menchum Division, focus this term is ensuring that the students and pupils cover over 90% of their coursework especially as the academic year began late due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the Government Practising Nursery School Wum, the Headmistress explained that her pupils will have an extra hour for catch-up classes.
