38th ANNIVERSARY OF THE CPDM IN WUM; A CELEBRATION UNDER THE BACKGROUND OF THANKS.

The YCPDM , WCPDM  and CPDM S ection   presidents of Menchum I and the militants  celebrated this event on March 24, 2023,  for the first time in public since the advent of the current anglophone crisis, at the Wum ceremonial grandstand .      The c elebration  took place in the presence of Mr. Dighambong Anthony Mvo , official representative of Hon. 2023 SENATORIALS; CPDM SCORES 70/70

The senatorial election of March 12, 2023,  in Cameroon has just known its outcome with the end of the electoral dispute.    The ruling Cameroon People ’ s Democratic Movement, (CPDM) has emerged victorious in the just ended senatorial elections in Me nchu m  Division , Northwest Region. WHERE THERE IS HOPE: COUNCILORS OF WUM COUNCIL ADOPT 2022 ADMINISTRATIVE AND AND MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS.

  The ordinary session to examine, scrutinize, vote and adopt the 202 2  accounts of Wum Council took place last March 10 th , 2023,  at the Wum  Council Hall. The council session was chaired by the Wum Council Mayor, Councilor Dighambong Anthony Mvo, under the watchful eyes of the   Senior Divisional Office of Menchum,  Abdoullahi Aliou   Welcoming the Councilors  and the Senior Divisional Office, Councilor Dighambong Anthony Mvo, told the council session that after voting the 202 2  Budget and handing over to the council executive to execute it, it was but normal for all to come back in a session like this, to evaluate and score themselves for the future. A rare opportunity to mirror their actions in order to improve on the living conditions of the population of the municipality. IWD 2023: WOMEN CALLED TO HELP EACH OTHERS.

Women in Menchum Division have been called to support each other in order to grow, to shun fear and take a deep reflection to significantly contribute to end the current anglophone crisis rocking the anglophone regions of Cameroon and Wum   with it. The call was made during the celebration of the 38 th  International Women Day, with a focus on inclusive digital world, innovation and technologies for gender equality, which highlights the role of innovative technologies in promoting gender equality and meeting the health and development needs of women and girls.  Despite the fact that women can be innovators and help transform the health of all people on the continent, much still needs to be done in order to close the digital gender divide, which mainly affects vulnerable women and girls, especially those in rural and remote areas with low levels of education and low socio-economic status.
