SENATORIAL ELECTIONS: CPDM MENCHUM ANNOUNCES READINESS.

 


Councilors of the Cameroon People Democratic Movement, CPDM, met at the Wum Town Hall with the Divisional Campaign team for Menchum Division on the occasion of the launching of campaigns ahead of the March 12 Senatorial Elections. 






The Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM party in Menchum Division is not hiding its ambition for power to change hand for meaningful development in Menchum Division. Hon. Nji Fidelis Muziah, Mayor Dighambong Anthony Mvo and Akwa Patrick told councilors of the four CPDM run Councils of Menchum Division that; it is necessary for us all to work tirelessly to ensure resounding victory for the CPDM in Menchum. The victory is not out of reach. We should remain focus, be on guard and be vigilant in winning the Election come March 12th in Menchum. Councilors were invited to keep aside their differences and respect party Discipline for party's sake.

Councilor Dighambong Anthony Mvo capitalized on the youthfulness of the Menchum CPDM candidate, who is also the youngest in the Region, to further intimate his peers to massively stand behind Kobenge Sekedi Bomeh as a way of ensuring the ideal that the young shall grow.

Talking to the press shortly after the launching, Kobenge Sekedi Bomeh said youth empowerment will be top priority during his mandate.

It should be recalled that Kobenge Sekedi Bomeh is holder of a PHD in Electronic Engineering and has been at the background of all party activities since 2002 and is the current Economic and Financial Affairs Officer of  Menchum III Section, Benakuma, Menchum Valley Subdivision.

Breaking the Cycle: Confronting Gender-Based Violence and Drug Abuse in Bamenda

In a bid to tackle the pressing issues of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and drug abuse, the "Adjust for Me" project, implemented by Common Action for Gender Development (COMAGEND), has been making strides in the Ntarikon 2 community, Bamenda. The project, which aims to raise awareness and educate the community on the causes, consequences, and prevention of GBV and drug abuse, has been well-received by community members. Peace journalists in Bamenda aquaint themselves with skills on humanitarian reporting and security/safety of journalists

This statement was  made by Fonyuy Kiven Frankline, the information officer at the United Nations for the coordination of humanitarian affairs, on December 27 2019 at Ntamulung church center hall as he trained peace journalists in Bamenda on humanitarian reporting and Security/safety of journalists.
