Christians of Presbyterian church Naikom in Menchum presbytery, are poised to celebrate the 62nd Presbyterian Church day in a befitting house of worship, as their giant ceiling project is near completion. Works are on going and each Christian feels joyful to dwel in the house of God with such a dignified ceiling.

The Presbyterian Church day shall be celebrated this year under the theme "Be steadfast in your transformation ". PC Naikom is celebrating at a time when Christians are fleeing from the atrocities and violence comited on God's children. The 62nd Presbyterian Church day celebration, also comes up at a time when human rights abuses have reached crescendo as human life now has no value in the eyes of fellow humans.

Human beings are butchered, killed,mutilated and abandoned like animals. Christians of the PCC in Menchm presbytery, will have to pray fr long life since life is uncertain in this part of the Presbyterian church.

On November 20, 2024, community spokespeople from the Adjust for Me project engaged religious and traditional leaders in an open discussion during a door-to-door sensitization campaign in Ntarikon 2. The reign of terror in Menchum once again manifested itself in horrific fashion on the Wum-Bamenda road on Wednesday 5 June 2024, turning an ordinary morning journey into a nightmare.
