Handball : les champions du Cameroun seront connus ce 3 novembre

Après 18 journées de championnat jouées en aller-retour 8 clubs de handball dont 5 chez les dames et 4 chez les messieurs s’affrontent dans un mini tournoi au complexe la concorde de l’université de Yaounde I.

Il s’agit des 4 meilleurs des championnats dames et messieurs issus de la première phase. Ils s’affronteront pendant 4 jours. ” La compétition se déroulera sous forme de championnat entre les quatre équipes qualifiées dans chacune des catégories dames Dynamique de Bokito, FAP de Yaoundé, TKC et FANZ de Yaoundé) et messieurs (FAP de Yaoundé, Phoenix de Douala, FANZ de Yaoundé et MINUH de Yaoundé). Les deux premières équipes à l’issue de ce championnat, disputeront la finale et deux dernières livreront le match de classement comptant pour ma troisième et la quatrième place”.

4 rencontres se déroulent par jour sont deux en simultané dans les stades A et B du Mateco, selon le programme ci-dessous:

En rappel Phoenix de Douala est champion en titre chez les messieurs et FAP chez les dames. Prévues ce dimanche 03 octobre, les finales de ces play-offs de handball dévoileront les nouveaux rois de la discipline au Cameroun.

Traditional Leaders Urge Government to Address Drug Abuse in Ntarikon 2 Community

On November 20, 2024, community spokespeople from the Adjust for Me project engaged religious and traditional leaders in an open discussion during a door-to-door sensitization campaign in Ntarikon 2. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the growing concerns of drug abuse and gender-based violence (GBV) within the community. Through this dialogue, the project sought to educate both youths and religious leaders on the dangers of substance abuse and to address how gender-based violence can be reduced in both the church and local communities. Many religious leaders expressed that while some progress has been made, the increasing prevalence of drug abuse among young people remains a pressing concern. Peace journalists in Bamenda aquaint themselves with skills on humanitarian reporting and security/safety of journalists

This statement was made by Fonyuy Kiven Frankline, the information officer at the United Nations for the coordination of humanitarian affairs, on December 27 2019 at Ntamulung church center hall as he trained peace journalists in Bamenda on humanitarian reporting and Security/safety of journalists.
