Le nouveau sélectionneur des Lions Indomptables et son staff ont signé leurs contrats respectifs ce 04 octobre au Ministère des Sports et de l’éducation physique à Yaoundé.
Le contrat du sélectionneur national tient sur deux années. Il inclut également et à la demande d’Antonio CONCEIÇAO la présence de 3 autres techniciens : le DR JOAO RENATO MARQUES SILVA, préparateur physique, ALVES ROLAO BALTAZAR, entraineur adjoint en second et monsieur Ferdinand MAKOTA, agent de liaison. Ainsi entouré et en plus de ses collaborateurs nommés, le technicien portugais compte sur 5 piliers pour relever la sélection nationale senior de football à genoux : « la rigueur, le respect, la discipline, l’ambition de gagner et l’honneur de mettre le maillot des Lions Indomptables ».

Les missions d’Antonio CONCEIÇAO

En communion avec la presse nationale ce 04 octobre après la signature de son contrat et en compagnie de ses collaborateurs

 Le nouveau sélectionneur des Lions indomptables du Cameroun doit :

– Atteindre la finale et tout mettre en œuvre pour gagner la CAN 2021 ;
– Qualifier le Cameroun à la Coupe du monde Qatar 2022 ;
– Améliorer le rang du Cameroun dans le classement FIFA ;
– Améliorer le jeu produit par les Lions ;
– Veiller à la discipline ;
– Procéder à la détection des talents
– Etc.
Antonio CONCEIÇAO a un préalable avant toute chose : « Premier objectif, sensibiliser les joueurs qui veulent jouer pour leur équipe nationale, pour qu’ils viennent avec honneur et orgueil. La sélection est ouverte à tous les joueurs ».

Les recommandations du gouvernement

Le Ministre des sports et de l’éducation physique, Narcisse MOUELLE KOMBI s’est voulu clair : « Antonio CONCEIÇAO, vous serez jugé au pied du mur. Votre mission prioritaire est de redonner confiance , réconfort ,joie et fierté au peuple camerounais et , de faire rêver , par des victoires éclatantes , les supporters camerounais , si exigeants et parfois versatiles et capricieux » , va-t-il martelé lors de la signature de contrat .
Le premier test sera réalisé le 12 octobre prochain à Tunis. Le Cameroun et la Tunisie se frottent lors d’un match amical.

Traditional Leaders Urge Government to Address Drug Abuse in Ntarikon 2 Community

On November 20, 2024, community spokespeople from the Adjust for Me project engaged religious and traditional leaders in an open discussion during a door-to-door sensitization campaign in Ntarikon 2. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the growing concerns of drug abuse and gender-based violence (GBV) within the community.
