They made a public appearance less than 24 hours after a group of
five armed pledged to abandon the bushes and help in nation building
(1st October 2019).
The ongoing Major National Dialogue, if anything, has rekindled hopes
for a better tomorrow reason why many more armed fighters are eager to
come out of their hidding.
During a press briefing, the leader of the group Shey Divine aka
“Aluma” from Nkambe, Donga Mantung Division, North West region asked for
pardon.
“We have sinned against the nation, we have sinned God, we ask for forgiveness.” He said.

In tears, he thanked the Head of State for accepting them as “prodigal sons of the nation”.
They promised to help government work for a return to peace in the North West and South West regions.
During the press briefing, the spokesperson of the Major National
Dialogue, Dr George Ewane also castigated RFI reports affirming that
separatist leaders were not invited to the Major National Dialogue.
He mentioned the over 40 separatists fighters taking part in the discussion as a clear proof of bias by RFI.
